Have you ever tried redoing a piece of furniture using fabric.  Well I do it all the time on chairs and such.  But not as much when comes to adding it to a dresser or table.  So today I'll show you the 2nd piece of furniture I've reinvented using fabric.  The first one can be found here with instructions too.

Diy Upholstery Chairs

Today's topic is re-upholstering chairs.  Since I have decided to open a boutique which focuses on home accessories, I've had the pleasure of reupholstering several chairs. I wouldn't say I'm a professional at it, but I do consider myself a Professional Diy'er of Sorts lol.  What I have learned is many of the chairs are made very similar.  Recently, I've published several posts on my blog providing instructions about the subject.  They can be found here and here.  

Dining Room Makeover

I'm so obsessed with blues right now that it's not even funny.  I painted a gazillion walls and furniture pieces with it.  Today I'm showing a dining room revamp done in the famous turquoise blue.  All items purchased used in this space are in some form or fashion thrifted.

Before: The fridge of course doesn't belong in this room.  However, it was spray painted black and put in the kitchen using 2 cans of appliance spray paint. Dresser in the middle of the floor was also repainted using oops paint in a yellow and placed in the bedroom.  The 1st makeover can be seen here and the 2nd makeover here.

Updating a Dated Chandelier

Quick post today as we are talking about updating an old chandelier.  If you don't have one great! If you want one run to your local thrift (they have plenty) If you do here's a great idea on adding a little bling with minimal damage.  

All you need is the metal frame and Christmas beads.

Free Up-cycled Vanity

Free! Don't we love the sound of those letters. Free! Well if you're anything like myself I love the sound. It comes from all around. The friend that didn't want it. The neighbor that sat it out. The store that dumped it. However you get it...it's still Free! Well I've been watching the girls over at East Coast Creative for the past few weeks watching the Creating with the Stars challenge. Black & Gold Desk Makeover
