Nicholas House

Hi There!
The week has started in bloom!  We started working on our room at the Nicholas House yesterday.  We were able to finalize the design and do a little organizing!!  Here is a sneek peek..

Now I guess you're wondering "where did everything go"... well .... mmmmm.  ok .... LOL...

Here it is... We still have a ways to go BUT it's going to be great!  Here's the thing the room is so small and with no where else to place the families belongings we had to divide the space in half.  By doing this it will allow us to work on the room one half at time.

....And I have to say that I was well prepared... remember this..LOL Picture
.....went a long way...

So anywho.....After I left the shelter I visited Home Depot and Lowe's.

I finally found the right wood, had it cut to size (big THANKS to James F.), loaded up the cart with nails, screws, glue and square and finally made the purchase after countless hours of wondering up and down aisle 8 thru aisle 52.....
Anywho the wood is for the storage bed that we're going to Diy!!  Similar to this one..
This is the actual diagram...... You can view the plans at Ana-White.com....
Yea.. I must say that by the end of the day I was exhausted!!  I finally made it home a little after 10pm!!  And yes the wood is still in the Truck!
Do you have any great storage solutions?
I would love to hear your thoughts!!

PS....Thanks again to everyone who has contributed to helping us at the Nicholas House.  It's not to late to contribute.. For more information click here or visit the My Contribution Tab.
