Up-cycled Sewing Table

Pinterest
Guess what?  I have a very simple Diy project for you today.  It's so simple even a non Diy'er can do it!  So I'm calling this one a "You can do it Diy table."  It's so versatile and be used in small spaces as well as a variety of different uses.  So here's the skinny... It's really a re-purposed sewing machine table.  When I purchased it the machine had already been removed.  So all I did was remove the remaining pieces on the inside.

Free Up-cycled Vanity

Free! Don't we love the sound of those letters. Free! Well if you're anything like myself I love the sound. It comes from all around. The friend that didn't want it. The neighbor that sat it out. The store that dumped it. However you get it...it's still Free! Well I've been watching the girls over at East Coast Creative for the past few weeks watching the Creating with the Stars challenge. This weeks challenge is Up-cycling. So I figured this week I would talk all about Free! And the things I've come across for free and up cycled.

Painted Goodwill Find $24

So I'm still working on this beauty but I wanted to show you the space that it's going into
The project that I'm working on now is revamping my craftsmen style home in Chattanooga.  I plan on using all second hand items or items found on clearance.

The brown and blue color combination has been re-painted with a gray.  The first room I am working on is the Den.
.  Now this room has served it's purpose but now I want to turn it into a bedroom....Here are a few more before and afters...

Beautiful 8X10 rug isn't it.  I purchased it from Garden Ridge in Kennesaw, Ga for $99!

I want to go with an Eclectic Hollywood Regency look.  Although this is not a style that I have mastered and not quite sure how it will turn out but I'm giving it a shot.

Work in progress... that's actually a sofa.. Looking for a full size bed! Stay tuned for more updates...

I would love to hear your thoughts on this one!!

I Gotta Spray Gun.... Yippeeee!

Well thanks to David at Home Right I was sent out this beauty to use on my renovation projects in Tennessee.  THANK YOU DAVID!!

As soon as I knew I was getting one I went on the hunt for some fabulous finds.  The only thing I could think of was Dayka using her's with a mask covering her face...

LOL!!  Thanks for the inspiration Dayka!  If you haven't seen here before and after pics they're Awesome click here.

So while I was in Tennessee I visited the Goodwill on Saturday.  It was the first time I actually caught the 1/2 everything sale.  It happens once a month on the 1st Saturday.

I scored these two pieces

$49.99 bought 1/2 off at $24
AND
$14.99bought 1/2 off at $7.50

Couldn't wait to start spraying!!!

Here is the outcome of the 1st piece
Not finished yet I'm deciding on what to do with the handles.
 What do you think?

Have you scored any great pieces lately?
